Passion, Praise, & Prayer

Psalm 122

If someone asked you to describe with just one word your feelings about the church, what word would you pick?

How about “passionate”? This word passionate might fit some quite well. For others, though, you think not so much. The word “passionate” doesn’t quite fit your attitude toward the church. Maybe you’ve been disappointed with/by the church. Maybe you’ve even been hurt by the church.

For David, he began Psalm 122 with this memorable exclamation: “I was glad when they said to me, ’Let’s go up to the house of the LORD!’” “I was glad!” he said. There’s passion there.

How does that happen? What does that look like? Join Pastor Larry McCall in Psalm 122 as we pray, “Lord heal our wounds. Give us a fresh passion for your Bride!”
