This Week at CCC

This Sunday, May 21, we invite you to join us at 9:00 or 10:30 a.m. as Pastor Larry McCall continues our sermon series, Snapshots of the Kingdom, with the Parable of the Unforgiving Servant, from Matthew 18.

Lunch on the Lawn: To encourage more fellowship within our congregation, we’ll be having a few informal Lunches on the Lawn outside after 2nd service this summer. The first Lunch on the Lawn is this Sunday! If you’d like to participate, simply bring a cooler with your lunches in it and a blanket or lawn chairs. Some simple games and activities will be provided.

Children’s Move-Up Day: Parents, please note that again this year, Move-Up Day will happen on Sunday, June 4 for all school-aged children, rather than waiting until the fall. Also, children who have turned 2, 3 or 4 will move up to their age appropriate class. Questions? Please speak with the Family Ministries Team at the Children’s Check-In!

Parent Date Night: Parents, on Friday, June 9, you can drop off your kids at CCC for a movie night while you have a date night out! Children can be dropped off at 6:00 p.m. and picked up at 8:00 p.m. for a time of fun & movie watching. Babies through 6th grade are welcome. No need to register. Questions? Contact Jordan Weddle.

Summer Ministry Opportunity: We’re excited about a unique opportunity to serve an SGC church in Toronto this summer! Learn more or sign up online by next Sunday, May 28, at No musical skill is required!

Wednesdays at the Park: THIS SUNDAY is the last day to sign up for Wednesdays at the Park, an opportunity for families to be on mission at four different local parks. We’re excited to build relationships with kids who attend, and we need your help! Stop by the Welcome Center today to learn more. Information is also available on the church’s website.

Prayer Mentorship: We’re excited to start a prayer mentorship ministry for our youth at CCC! Prayer mentorship is a commitment to be in daily prayer for an assigned teen in our youth group. If you’re interested or have questions, you can check out info at the Welcome Center or contact Jake Osborn.

Wise-Up Family Camp Out: Families, please save the date for our Wise-Up Family Camp Out coming up this July 21-22 here at CCC. We are excited to try this different approach to VBS for the first time–a family-oriented event! So, that means the entire family is invited! Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks. Registration opens June 4!

Graphic Design Help: If you are interested in potentially helping with a significant graphic design project here at the church, please contact Pastor Marc Goodwin at by May 28.

Sermons on iTunes: Each week our sermons are made available on our church website, but you can also find us as a free podcast on iTunes. Search for CCC sermons in the iTunes store.
