Old words for a new generation.
After forty years of wilderness wanderings, a new generation of Israelites encamps on the plains of Moab, with the Promised Land in their sights. Poised to finally enter into Canaan, the Israelites listen one last time to Moses as he seeks to prepare them for what’s to come. And while he has some new things to tell them, he primarily tells them them the same things he told their parents and grandparents forty years prior. And he points them to the same God.
