The Christmas season is often marked by a light-hearted, holly-jolly, celebratory attitude — at least that’s how it’s portrayed in many TV shows, commercials, songs, and movies. But the truth is that lots of people find Christmas to be a stressful time, a time of sadness, even depression. As Christians, is our holiday different? Should it be?
Join Pastor Marc Goodwin in Luke 1 as we look at the story of Zechariah and the birth of his son John the Baptist, and see how we ought to have hope in God because He CAN intervene in our suffering, He WILL forgive our sins, and He WILL change us. We can have a hope-filled Christmas, because “God is not dead, nor doth he sleep; The wrong shall fail, the right prevail, With peace on earth, good will to men.”
