Galatians: Walking in Step with the Spirit

In this sermon from Galatians 6:1-10, Pastor Larry McCall emphasizes how we can and should be walking in step with the Spirit as Christians/the church, which means that we will be walking upstream in this flesh-dominated world.

Rather than operating with self-serving, self-promoting, self-centered motivations and actions – which is often revealed in our world as demeaning and shaming others – we will be “living out the Law of Christ” which translates in daily life as “bearing one another’s burdens.” Bearing one another’s burdens will require us give of our time, our energy and our resources but we can gladly do this, remembering how Christ gave his life for us. That’s what the Spirit does: he makes us as individual Christians and us as his church to increasingly reflect Christ in our fallen world.
