The Power of Sharing Our Stories

Acts 25:13-26:32

Has anyone ever asked you as a Christian, “What makes you so different?” Peter challenges believers to, “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have” (1 Peter 3:15). But honestly, many of us, probably most of us, aren’t that prepared.

In contrast, the Apostle Paul seemed to be ready to tell his story of salvation at the turn of a key. In Acts 25:13-26:32, we read the story of him being brought from his prison cell to appear before an assembly of royalty and other bigwigs. Without prep time, he told his personal story of salvation in a powerful way. He even respectfully yet courageously called on these pompous people to repent and join him in following Christ.

Are you ready to tell your story? Join Pastor Larry as we listen to Paul’s story of salvation, which provides a template for us in telling our own stories. Lord willing, we will all walk away with a better idea of how to tell our “testimony” of salvation. Downloadable testimony worksheets are available above in .pdf format.
