This Weekend at CCC…
Sermon Summary from Pastor Marc Goodwin: Have you ever shaken hands with someone who seemed to just want to show you how strong of a grip they had? You go in for a normal friendly handshake, and they break a few bones in your hand as they squeeze with all their might. Well, even though situations like that can be a little painful and a bit awkward, there are some times in life where it’s reassuring to know the strength of someone’s grip. And in this week’s passage, John 10:22-42, Jesus makes it very clear that the grip of our heavenly Father is unrivaled. He teaches that the Father is “greater than all” and that “no one is able” to snatch His sheep out of His hand. That is quite a statement and quite a promise for us to hold onto. I hope you can join us Sunday morning as we worship and learn from this passage together!
PS – We’ll also be taking Communion together!
Each week we’ll include a list of songs we plan to sing as part of our worship services. We hope this helps you to learn the songs and sing them throughout the week!
- Praise to the Lord, the Almighty
- We Hunger & Thirst
- There Is a Fountain
- All Praise to Him
