Sunday Review, 12.22.19

Below are some notes from our this past weekend if you weren’t able to join us:

  • Pastor Larry continued our “God With Us” series and shared God’s Word with us from Exodus 25-31. You can listen to it, or download it, by going here: God With Us…in The Flesh
  • Each Sunday, we hand out “Children’s Bulletins” to help kids pay attention and benefit from their time in the worship gatherings. If you’d like to see Sunday’s “Children’s Bulletin” and potentially use it as a way to jog your memory of ways you could follow up with your child about the gathering, you can find it by going here: Children’s Bulletin from 12.22.2019

  • WORSHIP SERVICE | During worship service, our 2s-Kindergarten classes are working their way through The Beginner’s Gospel Story Bible.
    • This week, they learned from Luke 2:1-20 about Jesus Being Born.
    • The Key Truth was: “God is with us.”
    • The memory verse was Luke 2:10 – And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all of the people.”
    • The Application Question and Answer were Q) Will you share the good news? A) God is with us. Jesus’s birth is good news and great joy for all people. On that wonderful day, Jesus was born. Jesus is God. Jesus is our Creator who made everything. Jesus is the King of God’s people, and he rules over everything too. Jesus, our great God, was born as a little baby! We can tell the good news to our family and friends. Think of someone who you could tell the good news to.
