Every Sunday that we gather for worship as a church family is a reminder that Jesus was raised from the dead early one Sunday morning long ago. And while we want every Sunday of the year to be one where we celebrate the death and resurrection of Christ, there is one particular Sunday we set aside each spring to give even more attention than normal to this centerpiece of our faith: Easter Sunday.
Join us as we take a fresh look at the story of the resurrection of Jesus. We’ll be looking at the end of Matthew’s gospel, taking special note of the varied responses to the resurrected Jesus – from skepticism, to denial, to doubt, to worship. May we be moved by the good news that Jesus is ALIVE, offering us forgiveness and life!
