We’ve been learning a lot about God’s kingdom through the parables haven’t we? In this short series, we’ve learned about the nature of parables, about the worth of God’s kingdom, about things we should value as citizens of God’s kingdom, and about the perspectives we should have as God’s people.
This week, in one of Jesus’ most popular parables, the story of the Prodigal Son, we will learn about a father’s compassion for and celebration over a child who returns home. Most importantly, we’ll learn about a Father’s compassion for and His desire to see His children live in the good provision He’s acquired on their behalf. So join us in Luke 15:11-32.
