Larry McCall

Role at CCC: Pastor Larry is responsible to serve the church by strategically reinforcing the four key values through member shepherding/care, preaching, teaching, writing, leadership advising, and strategically representing Christ’s Covenant Church.
More About Larry: Larry has served as a pastor at CCC since 1981. In addition to pastoring, he enjoys speaking at retreats and conferences across the United States and abroad as the Lord opens doors. He has written a number of articles and is the author of two books, Walking Like Jesus Did and Loving Your Wife as Christ Loved the Church. Pastor Larry received his BA in New Testament Greek and MDiv from Grace College and Theological Seminary. In 1993, he went on to complete his Doctor of Ministry at Trinity Evangelical Seminary in Illinois. When Pastor Larry gets time to relax, he enjoys spending time with Gladine, being with his grandkids, reading books on notable people and events in history, or paddling around in his canoe or kayak.
Rod Valentine

Job Title: Pastor for Community and Care
Hometown: Hyden, Kentucky
Family: wife, Jan, and two grown children, Chris and Jamie
Role at CCC: Pastor Rod oversees organizational efforts that move the congregation toward meaningful community that is found in Life Groups, Pastoral Care, Assimilation, and Membership relationships. This position also provides oversight of the Lay Counseling Ministry.
More About Rod: Rod and Jan were part of CCC while attending Grace College in the early 80’s, where Rod graduated with a BA in Biblical Studies. He returned to the staff at CCC in July 2004 and was ordained as a CCC Pastor in November 2005. Before coming on staff at CCC, Pastor Rod served in several ministries including Camp Forest Springs, a year round non-denominational Christian camp in north central Wisconsin, and CROSSTraining, a college discipleship ministry at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Nathan McLaurin

Job Title: Executive Pastor
Hometown: Greenville, South Carolina
Family: wife, Robyn, three girls, Abigail, Katelyn, and Abrianna, and son, Kai
Role at CCC: Nate is responsible for growing the “Engaging His Word” value by developing structures to ensure that the CCC body grows to live in light of a Christ-centered (biblical) world view. This position oversees Life Education, Leadership Development (through IMPACT), and area-specific training as needed or requested.
More About Nate: Nate joined the CCC staff in March 2008. He graduated from North Greenville College in Greenville, SC, which he considers “home.” One truth that Nate desires the people at CCC to embrace is the goodness of God’s creation (even in its fallen state), so as to blur the line of “secular” and “sacred.” It’s all sacred because it’s all God’s! So whether we eat or drink, paint or write poetry, sing or sit in silence, it’s all to His glory!

Andy Royer

Role at CCC: Andy is responsible for growing the “Extending His Fame” value by casting vision, equipping and mobilizing the CCC Body for local, national and global outreach ministries.
More About Andy: Andy is passionate about seeing every man, woman, and child carry out God’s mission — to extend the Gospel to those who have never heard of Jesus and His Kingdom. Andy grew up in Brazil, where his parents still serve as missionaries. He moved to the US in 1996 and studied at New Tribes Bible Institute, Grace College, and Grace Theological Seminary. He holds a BA in Biblical Studies and Youth Ministries and an MDiv in Intercultural Ministries.
Shane McGrath

Job Title: Director of Children’s Ministries

Role at CCC: Shane’s roles includes providing vision and oversight for the children’s ministries at CCC.
More About Shane: Shane comes to us from Kentucky where he oversaw adult ministries and community groups at Point Community Church. He has also served as the Associate Director at Cedarmore Camp and Conference Center. Shane graduated from Ball State University with a degree in English (Secondary Education) in 1997. He also attended Calvary Chapel Bible College where he graduated in 2001 with a Biblical Studies degree. He is currently working on a Theology degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Shane enjoys hunting, hiking, theology, MythBusters, and Indianapolis Colts football.

Tom Wallin

Job Title: Pastor for Missionary Care
Hometown: Duluth, Minnesota
Family: wife, Jane, and six kids
Role at CCC: Tom’s primary focus is providing pastoral care for cross-cultural workers and leadership in developing and implementing policies and procedures to assist in the equipping and sending of workers cross-culturally.
More About Tom: Pastor Tom has served as an elder at CCC since March 2004. He has not been formally educated for ministry, having never attended Bible College or Seminary. His heart for sharing the Gospel is born from the experience of having the Gospel brought to him through a series of faithful witnesses early in his adult life. He has traveled extensively with short-term ministry teams and pastoral visits to Mexico, Tanzania, Thailand, Sicily, Ireland, and Central Asia. Tom holds an Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology from Oakton Community College in Illinois, and has been employed at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, Indiana since 1990, where he currently serves as the Team Leader for the MRI Department.

Kirsten James

Role at CCC: Kirsten’s roles includes maintaining the church website and computers, designing and editing print materials, and overseeing basic church communications. She also oversees volunteers who help in areas of communication such as photography, writing, and graphic design.
More About Kirsten: Kirsten received a B.A. in English from Grace College in 2004. She grew up in Columbus, Ohio, right in the heart of Buckeye country, and loves watching college football. Kirsten is excited about encouraging people at CCC to use their gifts in communication fields to glorify God and proclaim His worth.

Role at CCC: Juli oversees all church office functions, including clerical & receptionist support, church calendar and building usage coordination, database management, payroll, A/P, contributions and administrative support for special events. She also oversees volunteer efforts associated with the library, bookstore, and other functions as needed.

Job Title: Interim Director of Engaging His Word
Hometown: Idaville, Indiana
Family: Unmarried (Parents, Jeff and Cindy Tribbett; Siblings, Jared, Zach, Seth, and Ethan)
Role at CCC: Gabe is currently providing oversight and direction to several ministries that fall under the Engaging His Word value here at CCC, including Life Education, IMPACT leadership training, and discipleship initiatives.
More About Gabe: Gabe has a passion for seeing all believers become excited about the Lord Jesus Christ and transformed by the power of His Word. As believers grow in their love for God and their knowledge of His Word, they will increasingly treasure the person and saving work of Christ. Gabe longs for gospel-centered discipleship to permeate the culture of Christ’s Covenant Church through one-on-one discipleship, Life Education, and IMPACT leadership training. Gabe’s passion for discipleship was first cultivated while involved in campus ministry at Manchester College, and was subsequently stirred through his ministry involvement at Grace College. He has served as a pastoral intern under the staff of CCC from 2007-2008. He also completed two consecutive internships at Fox Valley Bible Church under the leadership of Paul Alexander during the summers of 2008 and 2009. Gabe received his B.S. in Secondary Social Studies Education from Manchester College in 2006, and is enroute to finish his M.Div. in Pastoral Studies from Grace Theological Seminary in December 2010.

Role at CCC: Kyle is responsible for the organizing and directing of the worship ministry. This includes oversight of the worship ministry, facilitating corporate worship, and contributing to overall service planning.
More About Kyle: Kyle is a graduate of Huntington University where he majored in Worship Leadership, Bible & Religion, and Business Management. He is currently working toward his Master’s of Divinity in Intercultural Studies at Grace Theological Seminary. Kyle enjoys reading, playing the guitar, playing board games, and watching movies in his spare time. He and his wife Emily (married two years) live on the Grace College campus where Emily works as a Resident Director.
Jackie Gustafson

Job Title: Children’s Ministry Assistant

Role at CCC: Jackie is responsible to coordinate all needed supports in the day-to-day operations of the Children’s Ministry program both directly and through the use of ministry workers. Areas of work include but are not limited to general program support, supply and classroom resource management, Teacher/Group Leader support, and general church office support as needed.
