College Ministry

We are thankful to be located just down the street from Grace College!

The college years are not merely a time to grow intellectually or to establish academic credentials. They are also a formative time in which young men and women can establish healthy patterns of engagement with a local church. Read below to learn more about how we seek to help them in this process.

THE OUTLET

Each month during the school year, we host a lunch called “The Outlet.” It usually takes place after the morning service on the third Sunday of the month and is hosted by a family from CCC in their home. The aims of this meal are fairly simple: a) to help college students make relational connections with members of our church, and b) to slowly help them learn what it looks like to function as an adult in the life of the church.

“SPONSORS”

We have many CCC’ers who love connecting with college students and want to try to make Winona Lake truly feel like a home away from home! College students can get connected with one of these sponsors, who will invite them over to their home once a month during the school year for “life, lunch, and laundry.” These relationships are intended to provide simple touch points to care for students by providing them. with a respite from the typical rhythms of campus life. If you’d like to be a sponsor, or if you’re a student who’d like to be connected with a sponsor, click the button below to email Pastor Jake.

EVENTS

Throughout the year, in addition to the Outlet, we may periodically host events that are specifically geared toward college students. Be sure to keep tabs on our church calendar so you don’t miss out!
