GLOBAL MISSION

As a church, part of our vision is reaching the nations with the gospel of Christ.

So, how do we do that?

As we have read Scripture and considered how to most wisely steward the resources God has given us, our church has decided to focus on two primary things:

taking the gospel to unreached people groups, and

establishing a local church among them.

These twin aims help provide us with clarity as a sending church. They help guide our elders (and our entire congregation) as we assess, equip, send, support, and encourage CCC members who enter into the work of international missions.

To enter into the culture of an unreached people group and be able to articulate the gospel in a way that in clear, precise, and compelling can take many years. And to see converts be discipled into a mature congregation can take many more. So we are not hasty in sending. Prior to being sent, potential field workers need to be thoroughly evaluated and properly equipped with the skills they will need for this monumental task.

May the Lord raise up many more CCC’ers to take the gospel to the nations. And may we “senders” pray diligently for the work of the Spirit in and through them! If you’d be interested in talking to us about the potential of being evaluated, trained, and potentially sent as a field worker from CCC, contact our Missions Pastor by clicking the button below.

Missions Matters

You can watch this video of an event hosted in 2020 called “Missions Matters.” It was designed to share the why and the how of CCC’s global missions strategy. In the video, you’ll hear from a few of our current field workers who are at different stages in the process of their respective church planting efforts.

Whether you are interested in potentially going to the field yourself, or want to be a healthier sender, you’ll find it helpful!
