Part of our church’s vision is reaching the generations with the gospel of Christ. One of the most overlooked and underemphasized pieces of striving after that goal is the discipleship of grandparents. Grandmas and grandpas can—and should—be active in telling the good news of Christ to their grandchildren. LEGACY GRANDPARENTING SUMMIT
Each fall at CCC, we host a simulcast of the Legacy National Grandparenting Summit. This multi-day event is designed to help grandparents receive wisdom and direction and to help them connect with fellow grandparents as they seek to grow in their commitment to passing the gospel on to the generations coming behind them. RESOURCES
We also want to consistently provide resources for grandparents. Compared to other domains of Christian living, the market of “Christian Grandparenting” books and resources is comparatively thin. So we are particularly thankful that one of our own pastors, Pastor Larry McCall, has written a book on the subject, entitled Grandparenting With Grace.
