THE PSALMS
As we make our way through the Psalms, we wanted to share resources that you may find helpful in understanding and utilizing this unique portion of the Scriptures!
OVERVIEW VIDEO
The folks at The Bible Project have created summary videos for each of the 66 books of the Bible. They are typically very helpful in getting a birds eye view of a text. There video on the Psalms is no exception!
MUSIC
Over the centuries, many musicians have written songs that either directly quote, or indirectly summarize, the message of individual psalms. Here are some modern examples:
Sovereign Grace Music

The Corner Room

ISAAC WATTS’ POEMS
Isaac Watts, the famous hymn writer, undertook a project to put the message of each of the psalms into the form of English poetry—with consistent rhythm and rhyme. It is called “The Psalms of David: Imitated in the Language of the New Testament and Applied to the Christian State and Worship.” You can find it in either digital or print forms today
