We look forward to your visit!
We know visiting a new church can be a little overwhelming. So, to try to make your visit as smooth as possible, we’ve answered some questions below. If there is anything else you may want to know as you prepare for your visit, you can contact our church office at (574) 267-8973.
-
Our worship service begins at 10:15 a.m. every Sunday in our Auditorium.
-
We have a huge parking lot! But in the front row (closest to the building), we have spots specially designated for guests like you, if you’d like to park there.
-
Thankfully, we just have one primary entrance, and it is front and center!
When you enter, you’ll be in our lobby. The auditorium will be straight ahead of you, and there will be a Welcome Center to your right—with free coffee, if you could use a little caffeine!
-
You are always welcome to have your children (regardless of age) stay with you in the Auditorium for the service. But we do offer some nurseries and classes for children kindergarten and younger.
We have nurseries that last the entirety of the service for children up through two years old. And we dismiss three year olds through kindergarteners mid-service to classes.
When you first arrive to the church, and you enter the lobby, look to the right of the prominent TV screen. You’ll see our children’s ministry check-in area. Our volunteers there will help answer questions you may have and get your child(ren) checked in for their respective classes.
There is also a Nursing Mothers’ Room available right off the main lobby for mothers who still want to see and hear the services.
You can find more information about our children’s ministries under the “Ministries” tab in the navigation menu.
-
You’ll find that most people at CCC dress fairly casually. We come to worship the Lord together, not to impress each other.
-
We follow a fairly consistent pattern each Sunday.
We begin with a Scripture reading to help orient our hearts, and then we sing several songs together, seeking to be “thoughtfully passionate” in our worship. We usually incorporate a time of prayer and additional Scripture reading during our singing. And we sometimes have members share words of encouragement or testimony with the church.
Once a month we take communion together, and several times a year, we celebrate baptisms.
Each week, a sermon is delivered by one of our pastors (we usually work our way through books of the Bible week-by-week), before we sing a closing song. Our services always conclude with a benediction—a word of blessing spoken by the pastor over the congregation.
